The Sugarcubes

The biggest band to ever come out of Iceland - formed in 1986 after Björk split from Kukl.
Lasting half a decade, the Sugarcubes (aka 'Sykurmolarnir' in their native tongue) consisted of:

- Björk Guðmundsdóttir: vocals + keyboards
- Einar Örn Benediktsson: vocals + trumpet
- Einar Melax: keyboard (replacing first keyboardist Friðrik Erlingson)
- Sigtryggur 'Siggi' Baldursson: drums
- Þór Eldon: guitar
- Bragi Ólafsson: bass
- Margaret 'Magga' Örnolfsdóttir: keyboards
